Infographics have become the way to get information across to the masses. Today we not only want information we want to be entertained while receiving it! No one can resist a well done infographic, they are colourful and full of fun facts. Even if the facts aren’t fun they look like fun when put in an infographic.
Pair an infographic with food then you are on to something. Food is and probably always will be a hot topic. We do kind of need it for survival and stuff. That’s where Taste comes in.
Laura Rowe gives us useful information on all varieties of food. It tells us how to grow, cook, and prepare it. It also gives us tips on how to cut meat or what to ask for at the butchers. It shares useful things like how to tell if an egg is good or rotten and all the different types of pasta.
Taste gives us the Who, What, Where, When, and How of food in a fun to the point way and I love it! I haven’t sat down and read it all the way through. I keep picking it up here and there and reading different parts of it in a random order. But I think that’s the point, being able to pick it up over and over again and still be entertained and informed.
I could go on all day about how much I am loving this book, but I will show you!
